Delicious Paleo Meals
The Paleo diet has become increasingly popular; offering a variety of health benefits and an increase in weight loss. Most Paleo meals are relatively easy to make and will consist mainly of meat and veggies. You simply preheat your grill and soak your wooden skewers in water for about a half an hour to prevent them from burning. Mix the olive oil, garlic and black pepper in a bowl and add the chicken pieces to it; you can leave them to marinate for about 20 minutes. Now you are ready to add the chicken pieces to the skewers. Grill them for about 15 minutes, whilst continuously rotating them; and voila! You are done.
For all the seafood lovers out there – grilled scallops in a red pepper sauce is the ideal Paleo meal. For this recipe you will need some coconut oil, a lemon and about a dozen large scallops. For the sauce you will use a large clove of garlic, the juice from half a lemon, a large roasted red pepper and two tablespoons of olive oil. You will need to squeeze the lemon juice over the scallops and let them marinade before you start. Then add all the ingredients for the sauce together and mix them until you have a smooth sauce; and heat it in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat up a grill and start grilling the scallops with some coconut oil; about four minutes each. When they are ready, put them on a plate and cover them with your freshly prepared pepper sauce to make a delicious meal!
Lastly, one of the most popular Paleo meals is a succulent steak with eggs. Lean meat is one of the main staples of the Paleo diet so you cannot go wrong with this one. To prepare this, you simply need a decent size steak and 2 eggs. You can add a few tablespoons of ghee (or tallow) and paprika, which is optional. Prepare the steak in a pan, heated with ghee or tallow. You can add paprika to your steak if you prefer; and cook it until it’s ready. When your steak is done, cook the eggs until they are medium to well and serve them with your steak. There you have it; a delicious, protein rich Paleo meal.

Your food choices will mainly consist of meat, poultry, seafood, fresh fruits and veggies; with a low to moderate amount of healthy fats.
